NCA Membership

Protecting the environment and the quality of living of the inhabitants of Nosara, as most would agree are worthwhile aims. Achieving these goals does not come easily, it takes a lot of time and effort from many people - the members and officers of the NCA.

When one becomes a member of the NCA he or she is accepting its Mission. A member's duties are to help the board follow these mandates in a cooperative, responsible and friendly manner: All members of the NCA have the right, and are encouraged, to participate in meetings, run for and elect the board of directors annually and cooperate with committee work.

The NCA has an elected board of directors, voted into office by the membership. When a person becomes a member, they are demonstrating their support, not only of the elected board, all of which volunteer their time, but also of the philosophy that the NCA adheres to.

What's more, NCA members receive a substantial discount with our group medical insurance policy with INS. As many in the community can confirm, Costa Rica has excellent healthcare and the policy is inexpensive and covers nearly all procedures.

NCA annual dues

$50 For one member or $85 for two are a small price to pay to help protect your community.

Community assessment is $125 for the first property and $25 for each other lot.

One need not own property to become a member of the NCA.
