And the construction?

Another report  presented at the meeting was from Josué Ruiz, Municipal engineer, who explained about the growth in construction in Nosara.

Ruiz explained that according to data from January to September 2021, Nosara was the Nicoya district that requested the most construction permits. During that period, permits were processed to build 40,929 m2.

The Municipality plans to receive 180 million colones for construction permits, of which an estimated 125 million colones come from the Nosara district.

The engineer added that during this year 90 construction closures were carried out, due to not having the necessary permits or other anomalies. The official added that any Nosara neighbor can file anonymous complaints about illegal construction. To do so, you can go to the Municipal Office of Nosara (Nosara Crece facilities) on Tuesdays or you can send it virtually by filling out the form at this link.
