The talented Costa Rican artist Susan Brown, Creative Director for the design and fashion store Love Nosara, designed a special bag for the NCA. It has a direct, inspiring message that highlights the authenticity of Nosara.
Susana, who in addition to having studied Collective Communication with an emphasis in Advertising at the University of Costa Rica (UCR) and Fine Arts at the Altos de Chavón School of Design in the Dominican Republic, managed to incorporate our slogan “The Magic of Nosara is no accident” , into the black Tote Bag. It is both casual and elegant.
The message of the bag reminds us that Nosara is what it is today, largely thanks to the vision and hard work of the Association and its valued members, who since 1975 have promoted development that goes hand in hand with nature.
The Tote Bag is also an invitation to reject the consumption of single-use plastic bags. With this multipurpose bag, you can use it to go to the supermarket or to go for a walk through the streets of Nosara. Ideal to show the many people who visit us, that in Nosara, we are a community that completely rejects the pollution and environmental damage that single-use plastic generates.
The Tote Bag can be found in the Love Nosara store (800 meters south of Café de Paris) and costs $25. The store is open every day from 9:30 am to 6 pm.
We are very grateful to Love Nosara, who in addition to being members of the NCA and donating to us a spectacular design, are also donating 100% of the proceeds from the sale of the first 50 bags to the NCA. Moving forward, all profits from the sale of the bags will be donated to the NCA. These funds will be used to support our vision in helping Nosara become a model community that values the well-being of all living things.
We are using this opportunity to begin to explore income diversification through merchandising. Although for now we do not have a virtual store, if you are interested in purchasing the bag, you can write to us at info@nca.cr and we can coordinate the delivery.
